INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS RESIDENTS OF COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU
The admission of patients for treatment or surgery intervention in University National Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment “St. Ekaterina” shall be performed with preliminary registration in the following ways:
- At the hospital, sector “Patients admission”
Work hours: Monday to Friday – 7:00 to 19:00
Saturday – 9:00 to 13:00
Holidays: Sunday and public holidays

Note: Admission to the hospital shall be allowed only after sending all the relevant medical documents. You will receive a response and a draft cost estimate for the value of the treatment and the required period of stay in the clinic, including details for the accompanying person, if applicable within 3 days.
Additional information: The hospital can provide specialized transportation from Sofia Airport. Accommodation of the accompanying person in the hospital is possible – for a specified cost.
Very important requirement:
The accommodation of patients and accompanying persons in the Republic of Bulgaria can only be allowed after obtaining the respective visa from the relevant bodies of the Republic of Bulgaria. University National Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment “St. Ekaterina” could provide assistance in the process of issuing a visa for the Republic of Bulgaria.
